2022 CFMOTO 700 CL-X Upgrades: Part 1
Maintenance and upgrades on my fun toy!
I bought this motorcycle in May 2025 for $3500US. It only had around 2200 miles on it, and I especially liked the fact that it came with cruise control and ABS. I know that there are ABS and other riding aid haters out there, so miss me with that. As far as the cruise control… well, its still finicky even after replacing the reverse gear sensor. I’ll have to mess around with it some more to see if I can get it working consistently.
Upgrades
The motorcycle came with engine guards and an aftermarket exhaust. I have the original exhaust as well, and I’ll probably need to put it back on at some point when I have to do North Carolina inspections for registration. I have modified the bike in some fun ways that I wanted to share here.
